We are located just East of the square in Lawrenceville, Illinois. You may know us by one of our former names, Eric’s Emporium or Eric’s Real McCoy Café. Nancy Hettich bought the restaurant at the end of 2004. She has 30+ years experience in the food business, and still loves every minute of it.

The Real McCoy Café is so much more than just a Coffee Shop that it has portrayed in the past. For Breakfast we offer Eggs any way you like them, Pancakes, French Toast, 3 Egg Omelets, Sandwiches, Grits, Oatmeal, Hashbrowns and more. For Lunch we offer a variety of Hot and Cold Sandwiches, Soups, Salads, Baked Potatoes, Cheesefries, Dinners and PB&J and Chicken Strips for the kids!

We are very proud to be one of the FEW Smoke-Free Restaurants in Lawrence County. We are not trying to keep the smokers from coming in, but trying to keep the smoke out. We hope everyone understands our choice. We do have a big patio out back, which can be used for that purpose. So we hope this will encourage you to come in and see us.
